The Smoked Meat Capital Of The World

To the wonderful people of Ville Platte:

I am honored to represent such a prestigious city, festival, chapter, and all in all title.  The night I won I felt so welcomed and already a part of yall VVA family.  You guys really know how to treat a queen.  I am thrilled that I get to represent something I hold so close to my heart; the Vietnam Veterans of America.  Not only have these men given to their country, but they are still giving to their community; Every year they hold the annual Smoked Meat Festival known as "Viande Boucanee".  I would like to thank each and everyone who made my weekend unforgettable and perfect.  Mr. Freddie (pop), Mrs. Sandy, Big Al, Big Girl, Chapter #632, and my pageant director Mrs. Peggy.  Thanks to all of you.. Throughout the year I hope I can make Ville Platte and Chapter #632 proud.  I will keep you all updated on events I am attending and try to post pictures.  Again thanks to the people of Ville Platte for welcoming me with open arms.  ENJOY the pictures..
