 6:00pm...........Children's Beauty Pageant--

 Pageant for children ages birth  to 13 years at the Ville Platte Civic Center. 

There is even a  trophy given to the youngest contestant.  See pageant page   for more information.

Sunday June 22

3:00 pm..........Pageant Contestant Tea - Invited guest only  

7:00 pm.........Teen, Miss, & Ms. Viande Boucanee Pageant--Pageant will

                         be held at the Ville Platte Civic Center and begin at 7:00 PM.

Friday, June 27th

8:00 am - 5:00 pm..........Set up of booths -- Civic Center Grounds

4:00 pm...............................Festival gates open to the public

6:00 pm...............................BANDS BEGIN  (times approximate)

8:00 am............................Festival gates open to the public

9:00 am - Noon.............Hospitality Room -- Civic Center Meeting 

                                   (open to veterans & invited guest only)

11:00 - 11:30 am ..........Cookery contestants turn in contest entries in the

                                   Civic Center

12:00Noon.......................Festival Opening Ceremony - Main Band Stand 

                                    2008 is dedicated to all veterans in honor of their
